Sustainable Gas in Asia - The Brainstorm
It is estimated that there will be five billion people in Asia by 2050 and with this comes an unprecedented demand for energy. Renewable energy sources do not yet appear ready for full scale deployment so Asia must look towards alternatives. Is gas a viable option? Does it have a sustainable future in Asia? How can infrastructure change to ensure governments and business make the best decisions to secure Asia’s energy future?
This was an exciting and dynamic event with key organisations such as IHS CERA and EMA taking part.
Throughout the year the series will continue to bring together industry leaders, key political figures and academic pioneers to debate how we can design a more sustainable future. Our second and third brainstorms will take place in London in September and Singapore in November.
